Several of our customer friends were able to get the ultimate gift for a pilot this year....a new Searey! I would like to extend our very warm welcome to all new Searey owners to our community!


I would like to take this opportunity to also wish every one a very SAFE year of flying. This means continued maintenance and upkeep to keep your plane flying safe for you.


Experimental aircraft owners have the advantage of being able to perform their own maintenance on their own aircraft that they built themselves. Even if the owner did not build his own aircraft, they can perform light maintenance, such as oil changes and spark plug changes.
However, anything more than that should be performed by a licensed A&P mechanic that is familiar with this type of aircraft. This is very important, not only because of the expertise, but also it ensures that the proper and legal logbook entries will be made.
